'The Bicycle Drummer', shows the depth of character and textures made possible by the most minimal yet complex of drumscapes.
This album is far more than a selection of recorded drums. 'The Bicycle Drummer' is an inviting, clever and unique collection of percussive compositions, artfully affected. It may come as a surprise to some that it stands out as a complete album, but stand out it does!

Recorded in Brighton (Puncture Kit's home town) the tracks have been cut in one take each, with the occasional over dub. Adding to this is the equally clever production and engineering skills of Castro (Silverhaze) …itʼs the combination of these two that produce the complete package.
An outstanding portrayal of drum music using home-made instruments, it transports the audience and Puncture Kit (he also cycles this thing!) to a rhythmic metropolis.
This release is of enough sonic vigor to be appreciated and absorbed for many years to come.
